Horizontal form fill and seal machine, typically for soft drinks cups. The machine thermoforms the cups from plasic sheet, embosses a best before date on the bottom, during moulding, fills the cup with fruit juice or similar and then seals the cup with a membrane. The liquid filling is electronic, which was updated very recently. 12 cups are filled at the same time, in a 3 x 4 configuration. The 12 cups are then split in to 3 x 2 for packing. The machine produces 168 cups per minute and the current cup size is 200ml, which is 63mm x 84mm square.
